El estudio dirigido por el Dr. Jorge Menacho, cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Juan \u00c1valos, estudiante de Ingenier\u00eda Civil Metal\u00fargica de la UNAP, mediante ensayos de distribuci\u00f3n de tiempos de residencia (DTR), utilizando una celda bidimensional transparente, que permiti\u00f3 observar el comportamiento del flujo en condiciones visuales y en el \u00e1mbito de la recuperaci\u00f3n de cobre por mecanismo convectivo.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"324\" src=\"https:\/\/news.drm.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3-1024x324.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.drm.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3-1024x324.png 1024w, https:\/\/news.drm.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3-300x95.png 300w, https:\/\/news.drm.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3-768x243.png 768w, https:\/\/news.drm.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3.png 1092w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Los resultados indicaron que las muestras con menor contenido de finos presentaron un flujo m\u00e1s homog\u00e9neo y alcanzaron recuperaciones de cobre casi completas. En contraste, las muestras con mayor proporci\u00f3n de finos exhibieron alta dispersi\u00f3n del flujo y baja eficiencia de lixiviaci\u00f3n, con recuperaciones inferiores al 50%.
